Institute for Informatics of Consciousness, Meiji University

Institute for Informatics of Consciousness is a research project in Meiji University, organized in 2008 for the scientific and cultural study of so-called "paranormal" phenomena and "altered" states of consciousness such as micro-PK and Near-Death Experience without prejudiced opinion like "believer vs. skeptic". Instead, I believe real scientific study needs real skepticism, not "disbeliever". To realize this unique project, the speciality of members are interdisciplinary: cognitive science, biophysics, history of science, antropology, and journalism.
