Laboratory
GHL has two analytical laboratories. One is located in the Global Front and the other, in a Sarugaku-cho building of Surugadai Campus. The laboratory in the underground floor of the Global Front focuses on microscopic observations, while Sarugaku-cho Lab is well equipped with a number of analytical instruments for structural and chemical analysis of gas hydrates, mineralogy and chemistry of sediments and rocks, and water and gas geochemistry.
