Psycholinguistic project

Participation in a psycholinguistic experiment project on the correlation of the costs of memory with multiple clausal boundaries.  I was engaged in planning the experiment with Maria Babyonyshev and prepared the experiment sentences in Japanese under the guidance of Professor Edward Gibson, Dept. of Brain & Cognitive Science, MIT, September 1996 through April 1997.  The result was reported by Edward Gibson & Maria Babyonyshev as a paper in Language 75, 3, 1999.


Corpus-linguistic project

Participation in a project on “Renyoo-Setsuzoku (conjunction)” in Japanese, headed by Charles J. Fillmore, Professor at Linguistics Department, The University of California at Berkeley, my involvement being the collection and analysis of the data with particular conjunctive particles such as -te, September 1990 - August 1991.
