Demonstraion at Nakano Open Campus 2017
Demonstration on optical wireless communication systems was carried out in Nakano Open Campus on 22 and 23, August 2017.
At a demonstration site, a white LED was modulated by music audio signal and modulated light was transmitted from the transmitter locaed near the ceiling. At the receiver, modulated light was received by a photodetector. So, it was possible to hear the music at the receiver.
High-school students were very much interested in the demo and suprised at the fact that the lightwave can convey music signal.
