This project carries out interdisciplinary research to propose policies (specific measures and methods) to proactively address social and ethical issues and problems brought about by the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in for-profit and not-for-profit organisations from both global and local perspectives through organising research teams overseas researchers would join. In today's ICT-dependant society, the prompt and adequate responses to social and ethical issues and problems brought about by the development and use of ICT is a pressing matter to build a physically and mentally affluent society. The facts that the development and use of socially influential ICT is mainly made by organisations and that such influence is global indicate the necessity and importance of conducting studies on information ethics focused on organisations from a global viewpoint.
